JCL Flooring (“JCL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, request a flooring estimate, contact our regional teams, or communicate with us about a project.

Our Orange County and Los Angeles / South Bay teams serve different regions under the JCL Flooring brand. Estimate requests are managed through a shared customer relationship management system and directed to the appropriate regional team based on your location and requested service.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. Our estimate form asks for your name, phone number, ZIP code, and flooring or service needs. You may also provide an email address, approximate budget, project timeline, project description, and optional SMS consent. During a project discussion, you may share your service address, measurements, room details, material preferences, existing flooring, preparation needs, photos, or appointment availability.

Communication and project records. We may keep your inquiries, emails, text messages, consent preferences, estimates, scheduling details, and related customer service records. Please do not send Social Security numbers, account passwords, full payment card details, or other unnecessary sensitive information through the estimate form.

Technical information. Website hosting, form, security, and delivery services may process your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, referring page, date and time of access, and cookie or similar identifiers to deliver and protect the website.

2. How we use information

• Respond to inquiries and prepare or discuss flooring estimates.

• Route your request to the regional team serving your location.

• Arrange appointments and communicate about scope, preparation, scheduling, and project progress.

• Maintain customer records and your communication preferences.

• Operate, troubleshoot, and protect the website and estimate form.

• Meet legal obligations and address disputes or misuse.

Submitting an estimate request allows us to respond to that request. It does not automatically enroll you in promotional text messages.

3. Who receives information

Your regional team. The JCL team handling your inquiry receives the contact and project details needed to respond. We may coordinate a referral to another region when you request it or your location requires it.

Service providers. We use providers for website hosting, forms, customer relationship management, communications, and technical support. This includes HighLevel / LeadConnector and providers supporting those services. Providers may process information as needed to perform their services for us. Authorized team members and service providers assisting with a project receive only information relevant to their work.

Legal and protective purposes. We may disclose information when required by law, in response to lawful requests, or as reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of our services.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not provide your estimate details to third parties for their own marketing or use them for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Calls, email, and text messages

We may respond by phone or email using the contact details you provide. If you choose the optional SMS consent, JCL Flooring may send texts about your estimate request, appointments, and related customer service. Message frequency depends on your request and appointments. Message and data rates may apply. SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing flooring services.

You can stop text messages by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance, or call your regional team using the numbers below. To stop promotional emails, use the unsubscribe option in the email or contact us. Necessary project or service communications may continue through another appropriate channel.

Mobile privacy: We do not disclose mobile numbers to other businesses or affiliates for their marketing or promotions. Support providers may handle mobile information only to assist us with services such as message delivery or customer support. Text messaging opt-in records and consent are not sold, transferred, or shared for another party’s marketing or messaging program.

5. Cookies and browser privacy signals

Our hosting and form services may use cookies, local storage, or similar technology for website functionality, form operation, security, and abuse prevention. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect website or form functionality.

This website does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. Do Not Track is different from Global Privacy Control and other legally recognized opt-out preference signals. We do not currently use your information for sale or cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices change, we will update this policy and provide the disclosures and privacy choices required by applicable law.

Third-party services used to display or secure website content may receive technical information when your browser connects to them. Their own privacy policies govern information they collect for their independent purposes. Links to external websites do not make those websites part of JCL Flooring’s services.

6. Retention and security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected. Retention depends on whether your inquiry becomes a project, ongoing service or warranty needs, consent and opt-out records, recordkeeping obligations, and potential disputes. We may retain information when required by law or needed to maintain your opt-out preferences.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No website, storage system, or transmission method can guarantee complete security. Information may be stored or processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You can ask us to review, correct, provide access to, or delete personal information associated with your inquiry or project. Call the regional team listed below and identify your request as a privacy request. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity before disclosing, correcting, or deleting records. Please do not send sensitive identity documents unless we explain why they are necessary and provide an appropriate way to send them.

We will review requests and respond as required by applicable law. Deletion may be limited where records are needed to complete your requested service, maintain consent or opt-out records, comply with law, or address legal claims.

California residents. Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to our handling of your information, you may have additional rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal treatment for exercising those rights. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to appropriate verification. These rights are subject to applicable eligibility requirements and statutory exceptions.

8. Children’s privacy

Our website and flooring services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.

We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. For material changes, we will provide an additional website notice or direct notice when required by law. This policy describes our privacy practices and does not serve as consent to promotional messaging.
